neuba here. I'm a 30-something woman living in northern Alberta with my amazing husband and adorable son. We also have 3 cats, who we love dearly, but can be a handful when they don't play nice.
I'm currently raising our son at home, but plan to return to work in the next few months. I absolutely love my job, but this new job - motherhood - is also quite rewarding and I'm having a hard time realizing that I won't be able to spend every minute of the day with my son.
I find myself busy with many hobbies and activities like exercising, kickboxing, baking, cooking, reading, gaming, painting, knitting, and slo-pitch. Although I rarely have time for many of these things, I try to stay as active in my hobbies as my busy family allows.
I've recently changed the title and focus of this journal - realizing it isn't exactly an accurate reflection of my blog, (having started this blog in 2005) but I felt it was time for a change, since my life has changed substantially since turning 30.
My perspective about life has also recently changed, and I know this is/will change the focus and direction of my posts. Post 2007, a lot of my entries were mostly about neuba and her adventures. Now, (although occasionally talking about myself) I tend to talk about my family and our adventures together. This is what lead me to the change.
I am looking forward to chronically the trials and tribulations of me and my family. Here's hoping you do too.
