Diva's Drag Show

Last night I went to Diva's for their annual drag show with Brennan & Laura. I had never been to Diva's before, so it was an experience for me. You see all kinds of people there - I guess I didn't really know what to expect. I had the opportunity to attend last years drag show with Brennan, but it was at Louis on campus. It was good as well - but I think I enjoyed this years just a little bit more.

The show was a little slow getting started - about an hour late, but once it got started it was great. Some of those drag queens/kings are real entertainers.

I find it amazing how elaborate the dresses, hair-dos, and make-up is - they really go all out to make it the best show ever. Some of the drag queens look better than me - that just isn't fair.

Diva's isn't that big of a night club - so we ended upstairs, and had to look over the balcony to see the show. It wasn't the best arrangement, but it worked. They played really good music, but our location in the club sort of limited the dancing. I didn't really get any dancing in, but it was nice just to listen to the music, and groove a little.

It was good to get out with friends - thanks for the invite Brennan & Laura!

I used to go to Diva's, I suppose one could say "frequently". My favourite experience there was watching folks trying to figure out if I was male or female.

...come to think of it, that was the same kind of experience I used to like having at the Sutherland...
