This afternoon my co-worker and I spent the afternoon previewing some training videos. To keep ourselves busy, we bring in videos from time to time to see if there is anything interesting and new for our seminars or our resource centre.
Santa's Leadership Secrets was the first video we looked at. It was animated, and quite funny - providing a good correlation between Santa's job all year round, and being a team leader in business. I guess we will see what our boss says about it. He is not much up on animated business videos - I think he is a little too serious sometimes...ok all the time.
The Bear Essentials of Business was the next, and it was fantastic. It was about the success of the Vermont Teddy Bear Company. The video showed the excitment, fun, and personal job satisfaction the employees have everyday at work. What could be better than working in a Teddy Bear factory, and being able to put smiles on peoples faces each and every day. WOW! It would be pretty hard to have a bad day at work. By the middle of the video we were ready to quit our jobs and go work for them. We'll see, maybe they will have something in my area. :)

Hey Carl - Thanks! I did see the posting when I checked out the website yesterday. It looks like it would be interesting. Guess it doesn't hurt to apply.
Nope, it forces you to keep your resume up to date, too, which is always a good thing when it really is time to switch jobs.
