A disease has ridden the Kaer over the last few months. No one has passed on yet, however the Elder is worried that the disease will spread and be the death of the Kaer. The Elder speaks with the council and proposes sending a group of champions out of the Kaer to retrieve some healing for the sick children. Ulka, Josephine & K volunteer for the journey, and the council passes the proposal by a narrow vote.
Josephine, Ulka, and K begin their journey down the Halls of Traps. Josephine, sharp-eyed, catches the first spear trap, and the group moves around it. As the group moves on, Ulka notices tracks in the sand - going the same direction as ourselves -OUT!...however they seem old, about 50 years. The second hall of traps presents a magical trap - Josephine is able to dismantle it carefully and successfully. More tracks are seen. The group is becoming more and more puzzled. As they enter the final area - the door to the daylight - they are shocked to find 4 slain adventures and a Horror. The adventurers have the same items that we ourselves are carrying to help us on our journey. However, they are old and smashed and of no use to the group. As Josephine approaches the adventurer by the door to the daylight it reaches for her. She flies back and up as fast as she can. The others then become animated - they are now Zombies.
The Zombies have been slain - Ulka, Josephine and K are left to make sense of it all.....
