Well, it looks like my research project is falling into place. Because of my international specialization, I get to do a project for a company outside of the country (US doesn't count). Earlier in the school year I was having some difficulty with the chair of the international specialization. I didn't think I was going to get the experience I had expected out of the international research project and the program, so I ended up with the
chair from the bioTechnology Management specialization. I also ended up switching some of my classes, as it looked like my project would be in the bioTech field. Sure enough it was. Looks like I will be going to
Oxford.
I am going to be working with
PharmaVentures. They are located at the
Oxford Science Park, which is just outside of
Oxford University, much like our Innovation Place. I am pretty damn excited. I am not sure
excited captures how I really feel. In Awe....that sounds better. It is going to be a fantastic opportunity. I will be able to say, "I did my research for my MBA in Oxford." Now that is pretty cool.
My research project takes place in the 3rd term, over the months of June and July. It looks like I will be going near the beginning of June and staying for about 4-5 weeks.
It is going to be so awesome!

WOOT! That kicks so much ass. I'm really glad that everything worked out.
That is really exciting! Be sure to take lots of pictures, and have a good time, while you are working really hard of course!! :-)

Yeah...it is a pretty fantastic opportunity. I would have never thought a year ago, that this is where I would be today, facing this amazing experience.

You can be sure I will have lots of pictures. This is something I tend to be a little obsessive about when away from home and on trips.
I have a plan of making sure I post something everyday that I am away. I hope I can do it.
