Good times; perhaps too good

Boy, do I miss going out and dancing. It has been ages since I've 'shakin' it' at the bar.

Last night, a friend from school hosted a BBQ party. Another great evening with school friends. I don't quite remember the last time I was that drunk. I am sure it has been several years. The drinking started around 5pm, and finished up at the Scuz (The Sutherland Bar) around 2:00 am. I must admit that the bar was pretty pathetic, but it always was. However, I enjoyed myself by focusing on the music and dancing.

Good times were had by all. The night is a little hazy, but there was ample beer drinking, some country dancing, bocce ball, and plenty of drunken antics. Carla, Chad, and I are going to have a blast in the UK.

I just wish I didn't feel so shitty today.

I'm confused.

Weren't you hosting a BBQ last night to celebrate the Oxford experience and RY's summer position in BC?

I was, but nobody came. Where were you?

YFJ was at the Den working his patootie off for his kind and benevolent bosses. Since my shift ended at midnight, I figured that would be too late to make an appearance.

Lesson Learned: Never assume.

You could move the BBQ to tonight. I'll come and eat burgers. :)
