Recently Absent

I thought I would check in, as it has been sometime now since my last post. I have been pretty busy over the past couple of weeks. A lot busier than I expected. So here is a recap:

School:
My Leadership class is going very well. Although it is not much different than the undergrad class I took, my learning has changed because of new experiences. The 'learning log' assignment has been a great way for me to articulate my thoughts and ideas about leadership. And our group project has us analyzing the leadership in either Patch Adams or One Flew Over the Cuckcoo's Nest. I did the One Flew Over the Cuckcoo's Nest in my undergrad class, so our group choose Patch Adams. Plus, it is a great movie.

Only one more week of Leadership, and then I am onto my Biotech Commercialization class. And after that, I will be off to Oxford for 5 weeks. I can't wait - 4 weeks until I take off.

I also have another class that I have been taking, recently I have been attempting to work on my research project. However, that hasn't got the bulk of my attention, and it needs it. Also, I have attended a couple of professional training and development sessions and a networking function over the past couple weeks. School has been pretty busy - so busy that the exercise routine is starting to suffer.

Life:
I have been enjoying the nice weather we have been having. Except, of course, the little bit of snow and cold we had this past week. But things are looking up, it is suppose to be 20 degrees today, and 25 degrees tomorrow. I am looking forward to it.

Jeff and I have been trying to get the yard cleaned up, however it has been a slow process. It appears to be at the bottom of the priority list right now. I am sure it will get done - eventually. I may have to bribe Brennan with beer and supper again. We did get a fair amount of yard work done that day. Regardless of the amount of yard work being done, the blooming flowers look awesome.

Even with the excercise regimen going out the window, I have tried to stay somewhat active by riding my bike to school.

As for this weekend, I hope to accomplish a lot on my group project and my research project. With Jeff off to Vancouver for Kevin's wedding, I will either get a lot of school work done or play too much computer and then feel guilty. Let's hope I do a even amount of both. That's fair.

Let's see if I can do a better job of posting over the next few weeks.
