Productive Day

Even with my current job of 'bum', I managed to be productive today.

Aside: I suppose I should let people know that being a bum doesn't necessarily mean that I am trying to prolong the journey of being a bum. In fact, I am trying to find a different job. One that requires me to work and make money. Therefore, as part of my daily (Monday to Friday only) routine I am seeking out potential job prospects and applying for them. Again, jobs that I can actually attain. Unlike someone I know (another bum I think) who thinks he is going to be a spy. Ha!

I spent the morning doing my regular employment search. I did find a wonderful array of jobs..jobs that I feel I am qualified for...jobs that will require me to work..jobs that I applied for...however, jobs that happen to be in hell Alberta.

After a couple hours of a productive job search, I returned to my current job as a 'bum.' I got the 'other bum' and headed over to the comic bookstore, where MFJ was holding his personal copy of the Fables series for me (btw, thanks A&R for getting me hooked on these comics. I am not much of a comic book person, but these are super mega awesome cool).

We then returned to my home in order for 'other bum' to print off some resumes and cover letters. Apparently, he also does not want to hold 'other bum' as a permanent position.

We concluded the afternoon with some enlightening conversation. We look forward to adding some more productivity to our day with floor hockey this evening. Yipee!
