Today I am 30 years young. And I do mean young. I certainly don’t *feel 30*; then again, I am not sure what *30* is suppose to feel like.
My 20’s have been exciting and tumultuous. Sometimes I wonder where all that time went, and yet I accomplished so much.
I would have to say that the last year of my 20’s was the most eventful.
• I earned a Master’s Degree
• I traveled overseas for the first time in my life
• I lived in 3 cities (Saskatoon, Oxford, Edmonton)
• I took my longest road trip.
• I got a new job.
• I said goodbye to too many close friends – old and new.
I have enjoyed my 20’s immensely and wouldn’t trade a minute of any day.
I became an aunt 3 times over; fell in love; earned my first degree; lost grandparents; got married; watched friends move away; bought my first home; partied; developed close relationships; struggled through depression; had 6 jobs; traveled all over Western Canada; got in shape; ran a triathlon; made new friends; and made mistakes.
I am sure there is more, but my brain has tapped out.
Good Times.
Today was perfect. For the first time (as far as I can remember) in 30 years it was not -40 degrees outside. Yipee. I got lunch from my co-workers, dinner from my friend, a nice gift from my parents and a wonderful surprise.
I love my birthday.

HAPPY FREAKIN' BIRTHDAY!!!!
R to the OB.
I wish I were one of those organized people who can remember birthdays and stuff *before* they happen. Alas. Happy birthday anyway!
Argh! I was even told recently when your birthday was, and yet here I am thinking -- oh yeah, Kaz is going up to celebrate neuba's birthday... I guess that means I missed it.
Glad it was fun.
Happy Birthday!
30?!
Frak me.
Despite what those in their 20s say, 30 is not the bingo fuel point of life. Keep going and congratulations!
