My weekend was fantastic. I partied with Jen & Chad both Friday night and Saturday night in celebration of their move to Dallas. I am very excited for them, and I am especially excited for any upcoming visits of mine to their fancy house with a pool. A little applaud that they can buy a 3000 sq. ft home with a pool for pretty much the same price as mine. I guess the price they pay is having to live in Bush's home state.
Saturday afternoon/evening I got to help celebrate Malcolm's 30th birthday. Furlak, Bne and I headed over to his & Erin's place for some games, videos, and chatting. The party also included Steve, Jen and Seamus. It had been many years since I had seen any of them, and I would probably say I barely know them, but it was nice to see them again and re-connect, if you will.
All in all the weekend was full of fun and friendship. It is definitely a good feeling to know that I have friends nearby who care about me, and who I can call on anytime I need a place to crash. Yes, that is you Ben & Furlak. Oh, and Erin and Malcolm too.
I have recently updated my Flickr page, so check out some of the pictures of my Vegas trip, my summer vacation, and the past weekend. There are some great shots.
As for my post title, it really has nothing to do with my post. It was just something interesting Furlak said this weekend when we were talking about life changes. It is always good to change your habits...hang out with different people, do something different with your leisure time...start a new activity. Sometimes people don't realize how different life can be until they break the cycle. But, habits are hard to break.
