Last night Andrea & I went out for a girls night out. We had a late dinner at Joey Tomatoes. It was delicious. The Three Cheese Pate with red pepper jelly was amazing. Exactly how an appetizer should, not too fatty, greasy, or heavy.
It was nice to get out for drinks, supper and good conversation. Both of us were so busy over the summer, we didn't get to hang out as much as we would have liked.
After dinner, we hopped over to the City Centre Cinemas and watched Shoot 'Em Up. Fun, fun, fun!!! There is a lot of gun fire, LOTS! But it suits the movie. The action was so intense that I didn't even realize half way through the movie that the plot hadn't been fully explained. And that is usually my pet peeve in movies. I like there to be a reason behind what I am watching. Go see it, it's tons of fun.
What does today have in store for neuba? I think I am going to cook most of the day. I bought myself a huge warehouse package of ground beef, and I plan on make a big batch of homemade meat sauce that I can squirrel away for the winter. I also plan on using some for lasagna. And now that I think about it, I could probably make cenobyte's 'Once a Week' soup. Mmmmmm, so tasty.
Tomorrow I am off to the court house. I am looking forward to the whole jury selection process. Although I will be away from work for awhile if I get selected, I am secretly hoping I get picked. Not to be away from work, as work is busy and exciting right now. I just would like to be part of this whole process.
