We said goodbye to a co-worker at work yesterday. We like to honour of fellow employees in our department by having a going away lunch. If you haven't been to Rembrandt's in the Senator Hotel, I highly recommend it.
Her last day is going to be on Monday, and I am going to really miss her. I got to spend a lot of time with Wanda this summer when I helped out in the front office with recruiting. We had a lot of fun together, including Penny.
The three of us have pretty much been talking about how we want to get outta there, and into something different. Wanda is actually returning to the company she used to work for, and Penny and I are desperately hoping something will come up in our field.
Though envious, I am really happy for Wanda, and her new opportunity. I sure hope that my interview goes well on Monday - maybe I will have a new opportunity to speak of soon.
