Last night Jeff & I visisted The Schooner Restaurant again. We figured it deserved another chance since Sundays' lunch was so fantastic.
I devoured my Red Snapper stuffed with crab, spinach, and brie in about 10 min. Sooo Goood!! Jeff ordered the Beef Tenderloin, which was topped with some interesting melted cheese.
We finished off the evening with some superb desserts - I had the Winter Berry Nut Crisp topped with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, and Jeff got the Molten Chocolate Cake. Very Good!!!
Tonight, we didn't dine as fancy. We went to the Eagle's Nest in Ucluelet - the local pub - and had beers and food. One of the lawyers from my office happened to be in Ucluelet for some negotiations, so he joined us at the pub when he got into town. Once again I had fish - tonight it was Cajun Seared Halibut. This fish thing is good for me, and I am really starting to get used to it. I think I need to eat more fish when I get home. I am sure the new Salmon cookbook I bought will help with that.
It has been another gloomy day on the coast...but it is still the coast. Ya!
