A Day of Presentations

Today, last years MBA class presented their 992 research projects. It was definitely a long day to sit and listen to 11 different presentations. It definitely challenged my listening skills. All in all, a good day of presentations.

It was interesting to see the wide gammit of presentations that were done. From biotech to agriculture to health care admin - some really interesting perspectives on a variety of different issues.

Today was definitely a good opportunity to socialize more with the professors and meet the graduating class. I got a little more insight into the coming year - A LOT OF WORK & READING. I feel I am prepared, it is what I was expecting anyways.

2 days down, 4 to go!

Guess we aren't going to see much of you in the coming months, then... [pout]

Likely not.....I will probably end up living at the university.

I am going to do my very best to treat school as a full time job, so that I can have some extracurricular activities.

However, the outlook doesn't look bright when I hear from one of last years grad,'my husband just about divorced me by Christmas time.'

Eek! That's really no good. Are they preparing you or trying to scare you?

Preparing I would have to say.

I am not too worried about it. Another grad reassured me that it wouldn't be that bad because of my solid business background.

Alot the students in this years class don't have a business background at all.

A little bit of fear is healthy. It's good to hear that the presentations were at least reasonable, however. I know a lot of final year design presentations in EE make me cringe.
