Anywho, I am back home from holidays and have enjoyed sitting on my duff since I arrived. Well, not really. Not long after I got home I headed out to the yarn store with my very much missed friend. He wasn't able to find what he was looking for, but I managed to find some yarn for my planned afhgan. We went out for coffee and had a good talk. There was much to catch up on after not seeing each other for three months. Since we are currently both unemployed, I think I have convinced him to be my 'unemployed bum buddy' (yeah, I know 'bum buddy doesn't sound good, but it is what I am using). Not that I am not looking, I just don't have a job at the moment, so I am officially a 'bum.'
So, my future plans consist of:
- Looking for a job
- Knitting (afhgan and dishclothes. Perhaps a scarf with my newly won camel yarn)
- Painting (as I promise my best friend I would paint them a picture as a wedding gift)
- Get in shape for my best buds wedding (30 days and counting)
- Perhaps clean house (especially my office. It is flithy)
- Oh, and last but not least. Hang out with my 'unemployed bum buddy'. Which may override any of the above.

...uh...
I don't want to sound too critical here, but I think you mean "unemployed friend who is a bum" rather than "unemployed bum buddy", which has the connotation of a friend of yours, who is jobless, with whom you have anal ...uh... relations.
Sorry; I just burst out laughing at the phrase.
Good...I am glad that I could make you laugh.
I am assuming that you read the brackets. I did acknowledge that it wasn't the most appropriate phrase to use (given the connotations you just commented on), but that I was going to use it anyways.
I think I'll stick with it.
Bum buddies 4 life.
